Aloha,
This week
has been another great week. Kind of a slow week but still great. We
had a lesson with our investigator that fell through. She was unable to
meet with us and she wasn't able to come to church........ We have a lesson set
with her for this Tuesday so it should be great. She is still looking forward
to being baptized! She told us that she wants to get the lessons done and be
baptized as soon as possible!
We
had a less active lady that came to church for the first time in a while and it
was awesome! She brought her daughter and grandchildren and they loved it! She has an 8 year old granddaughter who will be baptized this November..... It
is so awesome to watch our ward show how much they loved having her back and
how much they missed her!
As for the
rest of the week we had a couple other lessons with less active members and
they went awesome! Our Elders Quorum President gave us some people he wanted us
to visit, we contacted one of the families and we were able to share a message
with them and they were so nice! They said that we can have home teachers
sent to their home!
My new
companion and I have been working great together and we have been seeing so
many miracles! The members in our ward are so good to help us and point us to
the people who are open to hear the gospel! Recently our Bishop has challenged
a lot of the members in our ward to do more missionary work as families and
invite less active or non member families or friends to dinner. We
have had so many members that have told us that they have started their
own missionary work and want us to come to their homes the next time they have
them over! It is such a big help to have members that will work with us!
I can't believe that October is almost over already! The time is flying
by so fast! And I am loving it here! The weather hasn't changed much. It is so
weird not being cold in the middle of October!!
Well
I can't wait to hear from you all really soon!! Thank you so much for all the
love and support you have all given me!! Have a great week!!
