Aloha everyone,
This has been an ok week....... We had a baptism scheduled for Sunday Dec. 22
for Kekoa and everything was looking great untill the night before and
then he all of a sudden told us that he didn't want to be baptized...... We were
so disappointed! He was so excited and we dont know what changed. He told us
that he wants to keep coming to church and meeting with us but wants to keep
looking for other churches too..... We are hoping for the best! We really think
he just needs some friends at church to encourage him.
We had a surprise mission tour with Elder Richards of the quorum of the
70 this Friday and it was way good.... Our mission president and Elder
Richards really stressed obedience in the mission and want to have a
really obedient mission. We were each interviewed by President
and Elder Richards which was kind of intimidating but went really
well! Elder Richards is a very nice guy and wants to help our mission out
in any way he can.
Other than that our week has been pretty normal! We are still working with lots
of investigators and a couple of them are so close to baptism. The area is
doing really good and I love working with the people here!
I hope everyone has a great
Christmas Holiday! This is one of the best times of the year to remember our
savior and what he has done for us. I hope we can all remember the true meaning
of Christmas. I love all of you and cant wait to hear from you! Merry
Christmas and Aloha!
