Aloha Everyone:
Another great
week. Things are going great for us in our area.... We do lots of service and
have some great people that we get to meet with. We do service for an
investigator named Kimo. He is so cool and loves our help. He needs lots of help
to fix up his house when he isn't working. We do all kind of stuff for him and this
week I helped him fix the pen for his wild boar. We pick fruit
for him and build things and right now we are helping him build a deck on his
house. We love going over and helping him and he is willing to listen to our
message and loves it. He basically knows the lessons inside and out, but just
wants to keep hearing them to make sure he can remember. He has a place
where we share lessons with him, that he named 5.5.... he lives in between Kaneohe 5th and 6th wards so he calls himself a member
of the 5.5 ward. Ha he loves the missionaries and even named his dogs after
us. It is super awesome to help him and to share the gospel with him. It just so happened that we were on an exchange with our AP's that day and Elder
Bogner was with us... and every time Kimo meets a new missionary he asks them lots of questions and we had a fun exchange with him.
We have some
great investigators who are all doing great. We are teaching Trinity, her mom
is a member and she just hasn't been baptized....... YET!! We are also teaching
another family that one of their kids isn't baptized as well. Lots of promising
investigators and lots of work to do. We are staying very busy with everything from helping our zone to teaching our investigators. I love our zone and the
missionaries here are awesome and I am very grateful for the zone that we
have!
Yesterday we
had MLC (mission leader conference) with President and Sister Warner. All of
the zone leaders and Sister Trainer Leaders of our mission get together and
President gives a training and then we discuss how our mission is doing and
what we can do to help the mission do better. A really long meeting but it was
good and always great to be with our President.
Since we
were gone yesterday our pday is today... Nothing much planned just get laundry
done and maybe do some shopping. This morning our whole zone met at
President and Sister Warner's house for a pancake breakfast because we hit all
of our goals and so this is what President wanted to do for us. We had a great
time and an awesome breakfast!
Well I hope you all have a
great week! Thank you all so much for all you do for me and I love you all so
much!
Love,
Elder Gale
